Books and community connection through Guided Grace FYS

For individual volunteers

Bring what makes
you, you.

You do not have to be an educator to make a meaningful contribution. Your patience, creativity, experience, and willingness to show up can help a young person feel supported and encouraged.

01

Read & encourage.

Share the joy of a good book, support literacy activities, or help with book giveaways that connect families with reading.

02

Support the experience.

Explore ways to assist staff with hands-on learning, creative projects, program preparation, and community events.

03

Share a skill.

Bring your experience in technology, the arts, business, or everyday life skills to a staff-coordinated activity that opens young people’s eyes to new possibilities.

Corporate & local business partnerships

A staff day with
community at its heart.

From a neighborhood business to a corporate team, your employees can put their time and talents to work alongside Guided Grace FYS. Let’s explore a volunteer experience that fits your team and meets a real program need.

Team volunteer days

Step out of the office. Show up for youth.

Ask about bringing a group to read with youth, prepare learning materials, support a community event, or assist with program activities. We’ll discuss group size, timing, and the support needed to make the day meaningful.

Skills-based volunteering

Turn professional experience into possibility.

Introduce young people to careers, lead a practical demonstration, or share skills in STEM, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and creative fields through a coordinated program activity.

Ongoing partnerships

Make community connection part of your culture.

Explore recurring employee volunteer opportunities, a book or supply drive, or a partnership that combines volunteer time with program sponsorship.

Have an idea for your team?

Tell us what your employees care about, the skills they can share, and when they’re available. We’ll work together to identify a good fit.

A thoughtful match

Let’s start with
a conversation.

1. Tell us about yourself.

Share your interests, availability, and whether you’re volunteering individually or representing a team.

2. Find the right fit.

Our staff will discuss current needs, scheduling, and any orientation or screening needed for the role.

3. Show up with purpose.

Once your activity is confirmed, we’ll coordinate the next steps so you know what to expect.

Opportunities depend on program needs and availability. Submitting this form begins a conversation; it does not confirm a placement or event date.

Volunteer & partnership interest

There’s a place
for your contribution.
