Sheree Schattenmann, PhD is a former chemist turned entrepreneur. After earning a doctoral degree in Inorganic Chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, she worked in corporate R&D and holds several patents for her catalyst development work. She is a wife and mom to two teens and enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her family. Originally from Maryland, she currently resides in Minneapolis, Minnesota after living in Midland, Michigan for a decade.
Sheree enjoys many hobbies outside of her creative craft business. She is an avid gardener and enjoys cooking, baking and knitting. She enjoys volunteering and is especially passionate about STEM and leadership education for kids. She spent many years as head coach for the middle school’s FIRST Robotics Team at the Saginaw Arts and Sciences Academy.
Sheree currently serves as Lead Teen Advisor for the City of Lakes Chapter of Jack and Jill of America and is serving her second term on the Board of Directors for the Midland Center of the Arts.
