Jimmy E. Greene is the CEO & President of Associated Builders and Contractors of Michigan (ABC). He’s responsible for the Public Policy and Government Affairs in Michigan for ABC Members. Born and raised in Flint, Michigan and a graduate of Flint Southwestern High School, he attended Washtenaw Community College, Delta College, and is a graduate of the College of Banking & Finance in Wisconsin. He founded the Saginaw County African American Leadership Training Institute for young men. He founded The Henry Marsh Institute for Public Policy; a bipartisan public policy leadership group and is the founding Volunteer for Saginaw’s READ Program’s Lunch Mentoring Program. He served as the Founding President of the Board of Directors of the International Academy of Saginaw and was the first member of the Saginaw Promise Zone Authority.
Mr. Greene has served on several boards throughout the Great Lakes Bay Regions and currently serves on the Board of Directors for The Dow Chemical Citizens Advisory Panel, MITCON Board of Directors, The Shelterhouse, Great Lakes Bay Region Pride, and Saginaw Valley State University Foundation Board of Trustees.
He is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity and is the father of six children and two beautiful grandchildren.
